How we wrap, pack, and move your items in the most safe and efficient way possible

Step 1: Boxes

We first start by packing all of your boxes against the wall. We know that boxes can be filled with some of the most fragile items in your home (especially glasses and dishes). Taking that into consideration we want to tuck the boxes into a safe and secure place, which is the 1st wall of the truck.

Step 2: Wrapping Furniture and Fragile Items

After clearing boxes, we have now made room to wrap any items that could get damaged. Items such as couches, bookshelves, drawers, dressers, glass shelves, bed pieces etc. Over the years it has been very obscene to us how many moving companies don’t use any sort of blanketing or extra cushion when moving their customers. These steps can make or break a move……Literally! At On The Go Movers we want your items to make it in one piece, not pieces!

Step 3: Packing Furniture

We then start packing all the furniture we just wrapped, starting with the most symmetrical square shaped items like drawers, dressers, shelves, bookshelves, and nightstands. Then moving onto the more awkward shaped items like couches, loveseats, recliner seats and more.

Step 4: Big Boxes for Miscellaneous Items

Last but not least, we have big open boxes specifically for miscellaneous items like small chairs, small boxes, suitcases, blankets, pillows, lamps and much more. We put these boxes on a set of wheels and set them in the truck last. It cuts time, makes it cheaper on you and makes it easy on us! A win-win for both of us!
